I have been doing classes with Zumba with Larissa for almost a year now! Larissa’s classes are a lot of fun and it feels like I'm not even working out, which is the best part! It has got me through some really stressful times. Feels so good to just dance my thoughts and worries away, all from the comfort of my own home.

I am based in Brisbane so I do the zoom classes as well as the on demand classes which works really well for my schedule, so much flexibility which is fantastic! Larissa is an amazing person and is always keen for a chat after class, so it's like a cardio workout and a mental health check all rolled into one.

She is a bundle of positive energy and really lights up the room, I always feel amazing after her classes!

Hi my name is Kyoko and I have been taking Larissa's Zumba classes for more than a year now. I started after I gave birth to my 3rd baby and so she comes with me to Zumba and we both love it!

Her contagious smiles motivates me and makes me want to come back for her classes, which is so much fun and such a great workout!

Exercise is something that I have always found hard to motivate myself to undertake. I played a lot of team sports in school, but when that ended, I found it harder to commit to team sports that were often late at night. I mostly stopped exercising and I have never been one to just go for a run. I have never had a gym membership as I know I would never use it! I was very unfit and unmotivated…..then I discovered the magic and excitement of Zumba.

I have been doing Zumba classes for approximately 8 years now. I do at least 2 classes per week, if not more. I found them easier to do with accessible times for when classes were on. The best part about Zumba…. It doesn’t feel like a workout! It is a DANCE PARTY! The music and different styles of dance and music make Zumba fun and exciting, such as merengue, salsa, cha-cha, reggaeton, bachata, samba, hip-hop, and belly-dancing.

The atmosphere is very inviting, welcoming, and accepting of everyone. It doesn’t matter what shape or size you are or if you get the ‘steps/moves’ right or wrong. As long as you are moving to the music in a way that makes you feel good, then you are doing Zumba.

Larissa takes this mentality to the next level. She is a kind, bubbly, energetic person who has such passion for Zumba and making people feel good. Her smile is infectious! The online platform works well with my schedule, with online live classes and an ‘on demand’ option to do classes wherever or whenever you wish! You can do these classes in the comfort of your own home, saving travel time and being Covid safe. I have been able to keep up my fitness levels as work and family life get busy. I can juggle Zumba and looking after my little boy Sam who is two, and I am currently pregnant with my second child. Zumba is helping me to regulate my gestational diabetes and keep my mind and body healthy for pregnancy, birth and beyond. I am happy for my children to see me active and enjoying dancing and exercise and I hope that one day they will be dancing beside me.
