Classic Apple Oatmeal

Ingredients:
80 g old-fashioned oats
500 ml water
3 tbsp brown sugar
½ tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
2 medium apples, chopped
Pinch of salt
Directions:
Add apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice in a saucepan and cook over medium-high heat for 5 minutes or until the apples are softened.
Add oats and stir for a minute.
Add water and stir well. Turn heat to high and bring to a boil.
Turn heat to low and simmer oatmeal for 5 minutes or until thickened.
Serve and enjoy.
